We closed our doors for the last time on Saturday, April 17, 2010. As a thank you for the last 18 years, Key West Heritage House was open to the public for free guided tours on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17.

Key West Heritage House, the former home of Jessie Porter, who bought the house in 1934, during the Great Depression, and eventually restored it with the help of her husband. Jessie Porter was a collector of many things, including art, houses and people.

A visit to this splendid Caribbean Colonial House celebrated Key West's Conch and literary history, pirate folklore and island life. Original furnishings, rare antiques, and unusual sea faring artifacts were among the treasures collected by seven generations of this notable Key West family.
